I can't write in chinese.though  I have installed fcitx. because
I don't know whether  I installed it  correctly.
   Can someone show me clearly  (include all the step) how to install 
fcitx????  also  can you shou the download link  of the fcitx?
 because all the  fcitx I downloaded  are end with  .tar.bz2.  I don't know 
why?????
    when I found in other place,all they show me  how to install it were not clearly.
so I hope this time, You can help ME!

if you don't know how to upcompress the .tar.bz2 file, you can download a rmp copy. To install a rmp package file is very easy on redhat Linux.

1. where to download the rpm package file ?
http://www.fcitx.org/download/fcitx-3.2.051108-fc4.noarch.rpm

2. how to install it?
#rpm -ivh fcitx-3.2.050827-fc4.noarch.rpm

3. how to configure it after installation
3.1 cd /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/  
3.2 check whether file "zh_CN" exists. if not , create it.
3.3 edit file "zh_CN" with following content:
XIM=fcitx
XIM_PROGRAM=fcitx
GTK_IM_MODULE=fcitx
gnome-im-settings-daemon >/dev/null
3.4 now , execute the command "fcitx". #fcitx

4 now, you will probably work with fcitx,if failed. do below steps.
4.1  # cd $HOME   // go your home dir
4.2  edit the file ".bashrc" it is invisible. #vim .bashrc
4.3  add three lines 
export LC_CTYPE="zh_CN"
export XMODIFIERS="@im=fcitx
export LANG="zh_CN.UTF-8"
4.4 create a new file " .i18n" at your $HOME dir
4.5 add below line to this file
LANG="zh_CN.UTF-8"

5 restart your Xwindow
